GROWING THE NEXT GENERATION OF ENVIRO...

WELCOME TO COMMON GROUND

Common Ground is a center for environmental learning and leadership in New Haven, Connecticut.  On our 20-acre site at the base of West Rock Ridge, a diverse community of children, young people, and adults cultivate habits of healthy living and sustainable environmental practice. Find Common Ground with us.

In our 10th year: 6,201 pounds of organic produce grew in our gardens, and were put to use in our kitchen and by New Haven area residents. 4,176 program participants engaged in environmental investigation, the forests of West Rock Ridge, and a healthy food system. 150 high school students studied environmental justice, local history, Shakespeare, trigonometry and global issues. 13 innovative environmental practices were modeled and studied on site.
