Consultation and Complete Garden Planning
If you would like a more specific plan as a result of your consultation, Common Ground farm staff and educators can also provide you with a planting map and seed starting/transplanting calendar, customized to your garden.  This service includes consultation as listed above, as well as a written map and calendar.  The map will include recommended locations and spacing of plants and garden infrastructure (fences, trellises, raised beds, etc).  The calendar will include recommended dates for planting seeds into the ground, for starting seeds indoors, and for transplanting seedlings outside.  In order to customize the map for your garden, we must schedule the consultation at your home/school/business.  Fees below include a 1 ½ - 2 hour consultation visit to your garden in addition to the garden map and calendar.  All fees are for locations within 30 minutes of Common Ground.  Over 30 minutes, additional travel fees apply, please call.

Pre-ordered organic seedlings
Common Ground staff and students grow thousands of organic seedlings each year for our farm and for an annual seedling sale (which serves as a fundraiser towards the cost of caring for the farm).  Individuals, schools/non-profits, and businesses may pre-order organic seedlings in order to ensure that the variety and quantity that you desire is available.  Minimums apply and pre-payment is required, as we will raise and reserve the seedlings for you and hold them until the appropriate planting dates.  Prices are about a $10 savings per flat, as compared to purchasing individual plants on the day of the Seedling Sale (and, your seedling varieties and quantities are guaranteed!).  For all seedlings, orders must be placed by February 28, 2009.  Please call for a list of available varieties, we have many heirloom and hybrid vegetables and herbs to choose from.
